The most overlooked component when modifying a car is the
brakes.
Its all good when your car is making 200+rwkw that handles
on rails, but what happens when you need to stop?
One thing is for sure - Early model RX7 brakes are far from
the best when fitted with a ported or turbocharged motor.
Think of it as cheap insurance while at the same time, being
able to push your car harder.
The Mildren RX7 Brake upgrade kit is customised to suit
your needs, and prices vary.
Here is what is used in a typical kit.
Disc - Modified to suit, Drilled and Slotted is optional
Caliper: Series 4/5 RX7
Caliper Mount
Change Over RX7 hub
New bearing kits
Brake lines optional - Braided or standard (need to specify
length)
Pads - Hawk, Ferodo, Standard Mazda or supply your own
As you can see, its a pick and choose package. We can recomend
a package for your
based on your power or use for your car.
Interstate orders are welcome, just send over you existing
front strut/brake assembly and
within 2 weeks you will have it aligned and ready to bolt
back onto your car.
Be aware that this kit does add 10mm track to both sides
of the car.
